January 1, 2011 is the first day of a new year, and the second year I will try to attempt to post a photo every day for the next 365 days. It didn't work out so well last year. But as a New Years resolution, I have decided to try the 365 Day Photography challenge again.

8/365 Turtle Quilt
A friend on the reservation made this quilt. I am amazed at the beauty and craftsmanship of this talented Native American woman. I won't mention her name. She is part of the Turtle clan.
I am an amateur - going as I learn, learning as I go. It is my addiction, my therapy and my special place. It is safe here, behind this lens. If I have learned nothing from this experience, I do look at the world differently and how I can help others to see the beauty though my lens.
I am a Christian woman, Christian Counselor, wife, mom and friend.
