181/365 Orange Everywhere

With all the road work being done all over the Lansing area, it seems odd to see a group of orange barrel laying around in a Sam's Club parking lot.

180/365 A Simple Cat Toy...

It's sometimes amazing what chihuahuas will play in. Chloe loves this simple cat toy that we have had for years...from back when we had cats that is. It's been at least 10 years since we've had a cat. Chihuahuas are odd little animals, but we love them.

179/365 The Most Frightening Things on Earth...

We are helping with an estate sale of a friend and found these dental probes. The guy was an electrician and used these in his work. One of our friends helping got freaked out when she saw them. I have to admit they are pretty scary to me too.

178/365 Golden Impatience

We were at a neighbor's this morning and I seen a bunch of impatience. I don't remember ever seeing a gold impatience. I think this photo turned out really well. It feels like you could touch it.

177/365 It Won't Be Much Longer...

My daughter Patty and our friend Cody are both due soon. They both look great for a couple of pregnant girls. This is the first of many baby showers for Patty and my grandson Parker.

We had a very good day. We made enough money to give $50. to each one who worked, off the cost of their mission trip to Lincoln Mi. This is Jackie, Thom and Tommy "showing off their stuff."

175/365 The Bronze Horse

We have a neighboor who has this beautiful bronze horse in their front yard and I have wanted to get picture of it. They had a yard sale so we stopped. I asked if I could take a picture and they were more than happy to let me. They told me the story of how they found. They were in New York City three weeks before September 11, 2001 and found it in a gallery. They even met the artist. I have wanted a picture of this wonderful piece of art since we moved to DeWitt 3 years ago. I think it is very cool.

We were at the Lansing Mall for a quick lunch and seen these two. They were having a riot on the bungee... ride? It does really look like fun.

This is friend's baby and I wanted a picture of her. She doesn't have a care in world at this point. She is so awesome and a good baby too. I just thought the picture would look better in black and white than in color.

Besides my dogs, I would say that food is my next favorite subject to photograph. I was just playing around with these M&Ms and thought how good they looked. It feels like you could just reach out and grab one.

171/365 A Rose for Wayne

Today should have been my former father-in-law's 76th birthday. He died in 1997 from a long bout with cancer. Yes, he was my former, my ex, but I still think of him often. He was a good guy who loved his family and worked hard. He is missed.

We went to Poolsides at our former church and all the crazy kids were in the pool. It was like 70 degrees. These three little munchkins had just gotten out of the pool and they were freezing. They looked so cute all cuddled up together, I had to take their picture.

We found this picture of Shirley Temple at a garage sale and Thom had to buy it. He loves her movies...we have them all. I'm not that crazy about her, but Thom said he would sale it...in a few years.

This is a good sign that Spring is here. All the trees in the yard are a'blooming. I love this picture with the bokeh in the background.

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the months of May, June, July and August, we have to hit as many yard and garage sales as we can afford. My husband is big into EBay and old games sale very well. This is what he picked up just today. He makes a little money and it keeps him out of trouble.

I am so happy my mums are in bloom. We have a big plant on the side of house and it's all a'bloom. I think maybe Mums are my favorite flowers...after tulips of course.

I think this house is beautiful. It is across the lake from our friend Betty's home. I seen this, this morning and I knew I needed to take a picture. And with 90 degree weather we are having for the next two days, the water looks nice too.

2011 is turning out to be the year of the baby. Just in the Clark family alone, we have 5 due this summer. This is a picture of our friend Linda's grandson. He is so very sweet and such a good baby.

155/365 The Ducks Are Back...Well Were

The boy and girl ducks were in our yard waiting for us tonight when we got home. I have never taken pictures of them in flight so I thought it was cool to get a number of shots of him flying. The weird part was, I had to make a bunch of noise to get them to fly away just to get this shot. They really didn't want to leave.

Thank goodness that stores still have these wonderful flowers. I was at our local Meijer store and they still have them for sale. These are still my favorite flowers.
